Talha is an experienced psychotherapist with a background in community mental health, trauma-informed care, and human rights advocacy. He holds an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, an MA in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Community Mental Health, and a BSc in Psychology and Counselling. Throughout his career, Talha has worked across diverse regions, including Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Ukraine, Bangladesh and Ireland. In these regions Talha supported vulnerable populations, including survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, homeless individuals, asylum-seeking children, and war victims.
He has held key roles with organisations such as Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), where he managed mental health programs in conflict zones and humanitarian crises, and Amnesty International Ireland, where he advocates for human rights education among young activists. Talha brings a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to his work, blending his expertise in psychotherapy with his commitment to social justice and mental health care in challenging environments.
