Dr. Frédérique Vallières is an Associate Professor of Global Health and the Director of the Trinity Centre for Global Health, Trinity College Dublin. Working in tandem with national, international, and UN organisations, her research aims to strengthen the capacity of health care systems and services to respond to the needs of individuals and communities affected by adverse life events.
Dr. Vallières currently leads the Missing Link project, which seeks to improve supervision provided to humanitarian first responders; is co-PI for TS4TIC, which uses innovative approaches to strengthen the capacity of hospitals to respond to the needs of patients with a history of psychological trauma; leads an evaluation of the World Health Organization’s Community Mental Health Team programming in Ukraine; and is a co-Investigator on APOLLO, which aims to build health system resilience to rapid changes by improving the mental health of workers across eight European hospitals.
