Eithne is a primary school teacher, currently working as Home School Community Liaison Coordinator in her school in Darndale. She works closely with families and local service providers with the aim of improving educational outcomes for young people. She graduated from Marino Institute of Education in 2013 with a Bachelor of Education and has taught in DEIS schools since then. Over the last four years, she has worked to spread knowledge of TIP to schools and organisations in Dublin 17 in order to foster a multi-agency response to childhood trauma within the community. She believes that understanding and addressing trauma among students and their families is paramount in today's educational landscape, particularly in communities facing high levels of adversity.
