Dr Samantha Morgan-Williams is a Lecturer in Law, Director of the Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights and Co-Director of the Traveller Equality and Justice Project, University College Cork School of Law. She has research interests in access to justice, non-discrimination and minority-experiences of the justice system. She was PI of the 'Traveller Court Supports Initiative' (2023) which is a participatory project with Travellers of North Cork, which developed culturally-appropriate and trauma-informed peer-court-supports for Traveller victims of discrimination taking cases before the District Court. Together with Dr Fiona Donson and colleagues in University of Glasgow and University CollegeLondon they have developed the ‘Trauma Informed Clinical Legal EducationNetwork’ (TiCLE).
