Aoife Connaughton is a qualified Play Therapist (Play Therapy Ireland / The Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy) and Primary School Teacher (B.Ed, Dublin City University), specialising in children's mental health and well-being. Over the past three years, Aoife has served as the designated Nurture teacher at Powerstown Educate Together National School, Dublin 15, offering therapeutic support to over 50 students annually. Aoife also runs and manages the Nurture Breakfast Club , to foster a positive start to the school day. As a leader of the school's student well-being and active committees, Aoife played a key role in achieving the Pieta House Amber Flag for mental health promotion and the Active School Flag for physical activity. Her holistic approach integrates both mental and physical well-being, reflecting her commitment to comprehensive student support.
